The Federal Trade Commission is reportedly about to lower the boom on Amazon, filing a far-reaching antitrust lawsuit against the Seattle-based tech giant that’s likely to be a career-defining moment for the agency’s controversial chair, Lina Khan.

The suit focuses on Amazon’s core online marketplace, according to Bloomberg, which reported news of the lawsuit exclusively late last month, citing documents it reviewed and three people familiar with the FTC’s plan. The agency might bring the case as early as August, Bloomberg said.
