GCs are increasingly called upon to manage risk for their organization. A recent Law.com article finds 40% of in-house counsel oversee corporate risk as a primary component of their job.¹
At the same time, the role of the GC is changing. Mitigating risk and helping the organization reduce costs and ensuring good fiscal responsibility are essential parts of the job now. Other business units, such as claims, are feeling the same pressure with executives looking to reduce spending, especially around litigation.
What lessons can GCs and claims executives learn from these changes? How can the entire organization better use data and analytics to mitigate risk, reduce costs and have a greater understanding of the legal issues facing their organization?
Join this webcast to hear from leading GCs, legal and claims thought leaders as they share their experiences and advice on navigating these new pressures and how the nature of their roles has changed. You will learn:
- What steps legal and claims leaders can take to understand and mitigate risks as well as to better control costs within their business units.
- How new technologies can harness data and allow GCs to gain better insights into litigation costs.
- New methods and ways to run legal and claims departments to ensure bottom-line goals are met.
