Suit Alleges Accounting Firm Falsely Induced Small Business to Apply for COVID Tax Credits to Extract Contingency Fee

Accounting firm Lasiter & Lasiter was hit with a lawsuit accusing them of inducing a client to claim COVID-19 tax credits when they were not eligible for them in federal court this week.
