AccessLex Institute released its updated Legal Education Data Deck Tuesday showing that, in 2022, the admission rate increased for the first time in seven years, but dismal data continues for enrollment, admittance and graduation rates for minorities.

The law school admission rate for 2022 was 70% (an increase of 2 percentage points between 2021 and 2022) of applicants receiving offers. Even though the admission rate in 2022 wasn’t its highest—in 2017 it was 75% and 70% in 2020—this is the first time the admission rate increased in seven years.
