Awaking this morning to the news that Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard and Smith founding partner and co-chairman Robert “Bob” Lewis had abruptly stepped down from his long-standing leadership role a day after nearly 120 attorneys exited the firm, I started thinking about the ways that law firm leadership changes unfold.
