A federal judge partially accepted and partially rejected a magistrate judge’s ruling with regard to a civil suit alleging violations of the False Claims Act and unjust enrichment predicated on violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute.

In an April 21 opinion, Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV for the District Court of Massachusetts, partially granted and partially denied Regeneron Pharmaceuticals’ objections to a magistrate judge’s ruling that denied the company’s request for further discovery in a case involving a former assistant U.S. attorney who admitted to downloading various files and materials from his government computer system before leaving the position.
