The Virginia Court of Appeals has ruled that citizens do not have standing to seek disbarment of attorneys in state circuit courts.
In a March 6 ruling, the Virginia Court of Appeals concluded the circuit court had correctly ruled that it lacked jurisdiction to consider Nickolas G. Spanos’ legal ethics complaint against Henrico County Commonwealth Attorney Shannon L. Taylor.
