Herbert Smith Freehills has hired a five-lawyer, partner-led team in Milan from Simmons & Simmons to establish a private equity and equity capital markets practice in Italy.
Augusto Santoro will lead the broader corporate/M&A practice in HSF’s Milan office. He practiced at Simmons & Simmons for 18 years, rising to equity partner and head of the equity capital markets practice.
