The first U.S. state court jury trial in litigation brought by private plaintiffs over the opioid epidemic began in Georgia with opening arguments Monday morning.
The trial is taking place in Glynn County Superior Court before Judge Roger Lane, and is expected to last about four weeks. It is being broadcast online by the Courtroom View Network (CVN).
