Welcome to Skilled in the Art. I’m Law.com IP reporter Scott Graham. This week’s newsletter is personal. I’ll be retiring at the end of this month after 38 years in journalism, including 34 at ALM. For the last nine years I’ve served as ALM’s intellectual property reporter. Though the start was a little awkward (as detailed below), it’s been a fascinating journey up patent eligibility, across the America Invents Act, down TC Heartland and past grandma’s Oil States house.
