Kirkland & Ellis, DLA Piper, Covington & Burling and Proskauer Rose are advising on the acquisition of French Ligue 1 football club Olympique Lyonnais by London-based investment group, Eagle Football Holdings.
It is the latest acquisition by John Textor, who founded the London-based Eagle Football, and who already co-owns Premier League club Crystal Palace, which he bought back in 2021, Brazilian Serie A team Botafogo, and Belgian team RWD Molenbeek.
