Today, Phil Saunders officially assumed the role of CEO at legal tech giant Relativity. It was announced last month that he would be succeeding Mike Gamson in the role. Gamson will stay on in an advisory capacity through the end of the year.

“Phil remains committed to collaborating closely with Mike through year end to ensure a thoughtful transition. His focus will be building on the great work Relativity has already accomplished. This includes a continued focus on our commitment to e-discovery and e-discovery adjacencies. What’s unchanging is the focus on our mission to help our customers organize data, discover the truth and act on it,” a Relativity spokesperson told Legaltech News in an email.
