It was throwback Monday in the Western District of Texas as Fortress Investment-backed VLSI Technology LLC and Intel Corp. did battle once more in an Austin courtroom.
Irell & Manella’s Morgan Chu and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr partner William Lee originally squared off last April over a semiconductor patent potentially worth billions of dollars before U.S. District Judge Alan Albright. But the trial was aborted due to COVID-19 issues on one of the trial teams.
