More than half of jurors that participated in a recent poll on Americans’ view of the civil justice system feel worried about the state of the country today, with only 15% expressing optimism. This general frustration has a direct impact how respondents view corporations in the context of a civil lawsuit, with 68% saying “companies get away with cutting corners to increase profits,” according the survey recently published by the legal PR firm Rebuttal.
The poll results are based on a survey of 1,067 participants drawn from across the U.S. between July 28 and Aug. 4, 2022.
