The assistant chief of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in New York has joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

Eyitayo St. Matthew-Daniel served at the DOJ from 2020 before departing earlier this month. From 2019 to 2020, St. Matthew-Daniel was counsel to the assistant attorney general. She arrives at Paul Weiss as a litigation partner based in New York, where she will focus on criminal investigations, merger/nonmerger civil matters and antitrust actions taken by the DOJ, Federal Trade Commission, and European Commission.
