A former chairman of Riviera Beach Housing Authority was charged with extortion after allegedly using his position to receive a kickback from a real estate transaction in 2019.
Delvin Thomas of West Palm Beach faces a statutory maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years and a fine of $250,000, a press release said.
