Judge DaNeeka Varner Cotton has been named the next county administrative judge for the Circuit Court of Prince George’s County, Maryland, a position that she will take over from County Administrative Judge Sheila Tillerson Adams, who is retiring, according to a news release from the Maryland state court system.
Cotton has been appointed by Maryland’s chief judge, Matthew Fader, of the state’s highest court, called the Court of Appeals.
