The latest generation of junior lawyers appears to have it all. They are earning amounts that would have been unimaginable just a few years ago, working remotely much of the time and increasingly voicing concerns about issues such as work-life balance.

But frustration is growing in the senior ranks of the commercial legal industry. Many partners believe associates are starting to take things too far, saying they should be grateful for what they already have, rather than making further demands.
