Anush Emelianova

Anush Emelianova, Product Marketing Manager, DISCO

Anush Emelianova is a Product Marketing Manager at DISCO. Prior to joining DISCO, Anush was an Associate in King & Spalding’s Trial and Global Disputes Group and a member of the Data, Privacy & Security practice in Atlanta, where she practiced complex commercial litigation and successfully defended clients in cases involving breaches of contract, fraud, and state and federal consumer protection statutes. She holds a J.D. from Harvard University and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Bill Belt, Managing Director, CDS

Bill has 25 years of experience as a partner, shareholder and board member of AmLaw 200 law firms, including Williams Mullen where he built one of the first law firm eDiscovery practices. His extensive experience as a trial lawyer, including trying to verdict over 20 jury trials, and his deep experience in legal technology including working with AmLaw 200 law firms, “Big Four,” and technology providers gives Bill’s clients access to a perspective built upon broad and unique experience, and a deep understanding of his clients’ business and legal technology needs and strategies. Bill started his career as a trial lawyer and his team’s defense verdict in EMF/mobile phone litigation was selected as a Top 10 Defense Verdict by the National Law Journal. Bill was also recognized by the American Bar Association for his work on the Exxon Valdez litigation. For the last 10 years Bill has participated in and now runs a Corporate-Only Roundtable where corporate eDiscovery teams, judges and industry experts have met to share experiences and discuss emerging challenges and solutions that combine technological and legal solutions. He has led managed review teams at both law firms and service providers. His team at Deloitte was selected as a Top 3 managed review provider by the New York and Washington, D.C. Law Journals.

Dave Shargel, Partner,  Bracewell

Dave Shargel is a business litigator with extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes and arbitrations, and has built his practice representing clients in a wide range of business sectors and circumstances. His experience includes litigating contract disputes, shareholder disputes, business valuation, insurance coverage, civil RICO, and fraud. He also handles real estate, construction and employment disputes as well as matters involving constitutional law such as under the Commerce and Due Process clauses. He also has experience defending consumer class actions, such as those involving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and food labeling.

Additionally, as co-head of the firm’s ePractice Department, Dave assists firm attorneys with eDiscovery best practices and guidance, as well as case-specific discovery strategy and management. Dave is also a member of the firm’s COVID-19 Crisis and Recovery Task Force, advising clients on various issues related to the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, including matters related to the government’s stimulus loan programs.

 

Rebecca Matsuma, Litigation Counsel, Ripple

Rebecca Matsumura is a Litigation Counsel at Ripple based in San Francisco, California. She manages a portfolio of complex litigation and pre-litigation matters, including securities, commercial, patent, trademark, and government investigations. She also serves as co-lead of Women @Ripple Employee Resource Group and on the board of American Gateways.
