One M&A transactional attorney is hoping a recent deal experience is a sign the practice area is diversifying. For the first 15 years of their careers, Amy Wollensack of Akin Gump and Renée Delphin-Rodriguez of Crowell & Moring weren’t used to coming across very many fellow Black women in their work. Recently, Wollensack turned on her video call and was surprised to find Delphin-Rodriguez. Neither had experienced a deal led by Black women on both sides.
