The Tennessee Court of Appeals has affirmed the dismissal of a lawsuit against the law firm of Kustoff & Strickland brought by former clients who accused the firm of attorney misconduct and negligence for withdrawing from a wrongful death case.
David F. Kustoff and his father, Bernie, together represented a collective body of plaintiffs led by Anthony T. Grose, whose mother died in an accident in July 2015, according to the appeals court’s June 29 opinion. Alleging that her death was caused by negligence, Grose retained the Kustoffs as their legal counsel. The parties entered into an agreement based on a contingency fee.
