A federal judge has denied a widow’s claim that she is entitled to pre-death pain and suffering damages or medical expenses for her former husband who died from asbestos exposure.

In March 2018, Patricia and Herbert H. Mullinex filed a personal injury and negligence claim against John Crane Inc. regarding Herbert’s exposure to asbestos aboard Navy ships while manufacturing gaskets.
