It’s been a whirlwind five days for Ilya Shapiro, from his reinstatement as head of the Georgetown University Law Center to his resignation from the school Monday to his announcement on Twitter late Tuesday that he has accepted a position at the Manhattan Institute.

“Delighted to be joining the @ManhattanInst as senior fellow and director of constitutional studies,” Shapiro Tweeted Tuesday night. “A terrific organization making valuable counterintuitive policy points and home to many friends.”
