The Washington State Department of Labor & Industries and Office of the Attorney General filed a $300,000 wage-and-hour complaint against a cannabis business in Spokane County Superior Court on May 11, which the offices said is the first litigation of this type against a cannabis retailer in the state.

The lawsuit names Lovely Buds, Lovely Buds North and Lovely Buds Division, along with the parent corporation Cannabis Green and majority owners Elizabeth and Todd Byczek.
