Attorney Scott A. Rumizen was dissatisfied with the fee structure he had in place with a partner firm. Rather than renegotiating, however, he falsified settlement statement disbursement sheets and underpaid the partner firm by nearly $50,000, according to state ethics authorities.
Now, he’s been handed two-year suspensions by the Ohio Supreme Court, the New York Supreme Court and, most recently, the New Jersey Supreme Court.
