An Ohio attorney has been issued an interim default suspension for refusing to return a portion of a client’s flat fee after failing to complete his representation in two criminal matters and for ignoring a subsequent disciplinary complaint.
Albert Linden Purola, of Willoughby, Ohio, accepted a $12,500 flat fee to represent Ronnie Dykes in an assault case and a separate drug case, according to the complaint filed by state Disciplinary Counsel.
