A Harris County judicial district judge was publicly reprimanded by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct for publicly dressing down two attorneys and having them handcuffed to the jury box.

Judge Barbara Stalder presides over the 280th District Court, a family protective order court. She appeared before the commission April 8 to give testimony about two separate incidents involving attorneys Derrick Saulsberry and Samuel Milledge.
