Crosley Green is having the best year of his life.

Since he walked out of Florida’s Calhoun Correctional Institution last April, released by an Orlando U.S. district court judge after 31 years of incarceration for a murder he’s always maintained he didn’t commit, Green has reconnected with his family, met his grandchildren and worked a job with co-workers who have also had wrongs done unto them. For the first time since age 32, the now 64-year-old Green is surrounded by people who love him and understand what he’s been through to the extent that anyone can.
