A Washington state attorney resigned in lieu of discipline from the state bar after an ethics investigation revealed he had an ongoing affair with a former client’s girlfriend, the Disciplinary Board for the Washington State Bar Association said in a March 22 filing.
Langley attorney Robert S. McKay was admitted to practice law in Washington in June 1990, and he did not have any disciplinary proceedings before this instance. The allegations of misconduct against McKay in this instance included four violations of Washington Rules of Professional Conduct.
