Palo Alto, California-headquartered Cooley has bolstered its presence in the increasingly competitive antitrust space with the acquisition of two significant players among antitrust lawyers in Washington, D.C., and London.

On Monday, Ethan Glass joined Cooley in Washington from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, where he was chair of that firm’s antitrust investigations and government enforcement practice, and Caroline Hobson joined Cooley’s London office as a partner in the firm’s antitrust and competition practice group from pan-European firm CMS.
