Ropes & Gray is opening an office in Los Angeles with a former private equity leader from Paul Hastings alongside 11 lawyers already based in Southern California.
The firm said it has long-standing clients in the area, in the private equity, asset management and health care industries. It will launch the office in early 2022 with partner Brandon Howald, who was previously a vice chair of the global private equity practice at Paul Hastings.
