Nearly a dozen South Florida attorneys representing families of victims in the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, are moving to terminate the law firm serving as lead counsel in the litigation.

Stuart Z. Grossman, a partner at Grossman, Roth, Yaffa Cohen in Coral Gables, said he was shocked when lead counsel, Kristina Infante, and her colleague, Steven C. Marks of Podhurst Orseck, filed a motion for 10% of the $127.5 million settlement reached with the U.S. Justice Department, which goes beyond their contractual attorney fees.
