The New Jersey Supreme Court has censured a 97-year-old lawyer for recordkeeping deficiencies and failure to cooperate with ethics investigators.

A random audit revealed that Irving Tobin of Hillside has $818,221 in negative client balances and $401,110 in unidentified client balances in his attorney trust account, the Disciplinary Review Board said.
