Elizabeth Holmes testified Tuesday that she wishes she would have handled many aspects of her leadership at Theranos differently, including directing Boies Schiller Flexner to pursue legal action against purported whistleblowers.

The government’s first day of Holmes’ cross-examination worked to counter the Theranos founder’s testimony in direct that indicated second-in-command Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani concealed operational issues at the blood-testing company and that she didn’t have full agency over her decisions.
