Attorneys general from 41 states, along with Puerto Rico and Guam, have issued a statement in support of legislation before Congress geared toward stopping corporations from venue-shopping bankruptcy cases.

The statement, issued by the National Association of Attorneys General to congressional leaders, endorsed two measures, H.R. 4193—the Bankruptcy Venue Reform Act of 2021—and S. 2827—Bankruptcy Venue Reform Act of 2021.
