Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan autonomous vehicle practice chair Jordan Jaffe has joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in San Francisco, yet another loss in a string of departures for the firm this month and the second practice group leader to leave the firm this year.

Jaffe first joined Quinn Emanuel as an associate in 2007 and made partner in 2016. He represents companies in the AI and autonomous vehicle space in trade secrets litigation. In recent years, he represented Waymo in its blockbuster case again Uber and was among a team of Quinn Emanuel litigators representing Google in a lawsuit against audio company Sonos last year.
