Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld are asking that their personnel return to the office part-time in November, as more firms stick with their autumn return plans amid falling numbers of COVID-19 cases.

In a memo obtained by Law.com, Fried Frank chairman David Greenwald said the firm is going through with “Phase II” of its U.S. return-to-office plan and will expect personnel to be in the office one or two days per week beginning Nov. 1 through the end of the year. The firm had originally planned on returning Sept. 13 before delaying.
