More startups may look to enter the legal invoice review space, but that won’t necessarily result in a bigger marketplace. Instead, as more entrepreneurs and products endeavor to capitalize on a still relatively untapped customer base, they may find themselves being quickly absorbed by larger incumbents determined to maintain their innovative edge.
“Sometimes it does boggle the mind that there’s room for another entrant,” said Eric Elfman, CEO of Onit, which released its first pass review tool InvoiceAI just last May.
