The planned trial of former Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas has once again been cast in doubt, after a Manhattan federal judge said that he and a fellow co-defendant were second in line for an October start date.

In a brief order Friday, U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken said that jury selection in the high-profile campaign-finance case would begin Oct. 12, but only if trial in a separate and unrelated case was adjourned.
