Amid heightened competition in Big Law for IP litigators, Latham & Watkins said Monday it added Anthony Sammi, the head of IP litigation at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, to its New York office.

Latham said Sammi is now global vice chair of Latham’s IP litigation practice and a partner in the litigation and trial department. He previously served at Skadden for over two decades.
