Beverly Hills litigator and Greenberg Traurig Los Angeles shareholder Mathew Rosengart has been tapped to represent Britney Spears in her widely watched bid to end the conservatorship that has dictated many aspects of her life for more than a decade.

The news comes about a week after Spears’ court-appointed attorney, Loeb & Loeb’s Sam Ingham, suddenly resigned last week after representing the singer since the conservatorship’s start in 2008. According to Spears, Ingham only recently told Spears she could end the conservatorship. Ingham quit over the allegation, sources told TMZ.
