The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York announced Monday that it was relaxing its pandemic safety protocols to allow fully vaccinated persons to remove their masks and no longer observe social distancing in courtroom wells.
The new guidance, formulated by the court’s COVID-19 response team, applied to non-jury trials and other in-court proceedings.
