Foley & Lardner, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, Schulte Roth & Zabel, Brown Rudnick, Akerman and Jackson Lewis have all made changes in their marketing C-suites in the last two months, signaling that at least for some firms, the marriage of pre-pandemic marketing efforts and those honed in the last 15 months requires a fresh set of eyes.
In chronological order, Brownstein hired Wendy Taylor as its new chief marketing and business development officer April 26; Jackson Lewis hired Bob Robertson on May 10; Akerman added Iris Jones as chief marketing and client development officer May 19; Brown Rudnick hired Julia Bennett as CMO on May 24; Schulte Roth onboarded Nicole Petrie as its new CMBDO on May 25; and Foley hired former long-time Hogan Lovells marketer Koree Khongphand-Buckman as its new CMBDO on June 1. One more firm, Ice Miller, is on the precipice of announcing a new marketing pro.
