Pennsylvania Bar Association president and Luzerne County attorney David Schwager has resigned his position after being charged with hiring a prostitute.
Schwager, 58, was arrested in December 2019 but was only recently charged in Magisterial District Court on Tuesday with the misdemeanor of patronizing a prostitute in Wilkes-Barre. He awaits a preliminary hearing. His attorney, Frank Nocito, declined to comment.
