Dechert and its partners involved in two ongoing torture cases in the Middle East have estimated that their own legal costs in defending the claims could hit around $15 million, documents show.

The law firm and its former London-based head of white-collar Neil Gerrard, who retired from the partnership at the end of 2020, are facing two claims from two imprisoned individuals.
