In last week’s Law.com Trendspotter column, we wrote that law firms are increasingly exploring “hoteling” options, in which lawyers and staff don’t have permanently assigned workspaces, but that it remains to be seen whether partners will ultimately be willing to part with their own personal offices altogether.

A few readers wrote in to say that while some resistance is expected, the rising desire among firms to reduce their office space coupled with the rising desire among attorneys of all ages to gain more flexibility to work remotely is likely to win out in the end.
