U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria appeared unlikely to grant a request from lead counsel in the Roundup multidistrict litigation for an order that would have given them an estimated $800 million in attorney fees.
Then he pushed back even further, raising the prospect that he might not issue an order at all.
