Roche Cyrulnik Freedman (RCF), a litigation boutique spun off of Boies Schiller Flexner in early 2020, is suing ex-name partner and co-founder Jason Cyrulnik for allegedly refusing to leave the firm after being voted out of the partnership and for demanding that he be paid more than what is owed to him under the firm’s partnership agreement.

The lawsuit, filed Feb. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleges that RCF partners unanimously voted to remove Cyrulnik from the partnership Feb. 10 due to a “pattern of increasingly abusive, destructive, erratic, and obstructive behavior” against colleagues at the firm beginning in July of 2020. RCF has offices in New York and Miami.
