Longtime Boston College Law Dean Vincent Rougeau has been named the next president of the College of the Holy Cross—a private Jesuit liberal arts college in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Rougeau will be the college’s first Black president, as well as the first lay president in the institution’s 178-year history. He’s also the third high-profile law dean in recent months to be plucked from the legal academy and tapped to lead a college or university.
