Last month, as he watched news footage of a violent mob ransacking the U.S. Capitol, Albert Watkins turned to his children and told them Jan. 6 would be remembered.
At the time, the St. Louis-based lawyer meant that it would live on as the date of an appalling national tragedy, Watkins recalled in a recent interview with The National Law Journal.
